Gynecomastia (Male Breast Reduction)

An embarrassing trait for males is the large breast. With plastic surgery, either suction, or excision, or a combination of both, can render the breast less noticeable with or without clothing.

Predisposing factors to gynecomastia are marijuana use, tumors of the testicles, steroid use, or simple obesity. Each of these factors must be addressed before successful surgery.

The procedures can be accomplished with either conscious sedation, or general anesthesia.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROCEDURE:

  • If there is mostly fatty tissue, local anesthesia can be done
  • If skin excision is needed, costs will be discussed at the time of your consultation

Costs range from $2500 to $6500, depending on the complexity of the problem.
